ARM controllers are becoming the default microcontroller architectures replacing 8051 stuff. Many arm controllers are today prices in comparison with their 8051 counterparts. We need to select ARM core modules, ARM SBCs and Development boards for our software development and testing. Since our customers will have wide requirements, our development platforms should support low end as well as high-end controllers.

Simputer itself is a StrongARM PDA with open architecture and work on many Linux and embedded linux variants. Plus it can act like a product platform itself

Strong board can be helpful for embedded linux platforms and related development, little costly but for in case features and os support is good, can be a good development platform.
