In these cases, the sensor can not read the fingerprint because of an obscure image. So the user should try to be normal hands with some handcream and then retry to identify.

If you have the firmware, V1.15x or V1.17x, you don't have to upgrade
the firmware.
But you must check if the capture mode in the NAC-3000 is the "intelli"
which, increases recognition performance against dry finger or wet finger.

The latest version of the driver, V1.32 was released in July, 2004.

The latest version of the firmware, V1.40 was released in November,
