Technical information about Sensing area - Hamster1 /Hamster 2 / Hamster 4 :
Hamster series has a Sensing Area 12.7mm * 14.9mm
Our All Hamster series has same area of prism (16 * 18)
Mostly, we consider "sensing area" as "Effectivce area".
Image capture speed & transfer speed is as below:

Image Transfer speed : support USB Full Speed (12Mbps) Bus Usage :
about 66%
2) Hamster2 (product name-Fingkey hamster2 /Model NO.- HFDU14)
Image Capture Speed : about 3.4 Frame/sec
Image Transfer speed : support USB High Speed (480Mbps) , Bus Usage
: about 9% under
3) Hamster4(product name-Fingkey hamster /Model NO.-HFDU04)
Image Capture Speed : about 3.4 Frame/sec
Image Transfer speed : support USB High speed (480Mbps)/ Bus Usage
: about 9% under
Also Hamster 1,4 has a function that be able to detect latent fingerprint.
and Hamster 2 has a function that detect forgery fingerprint.
To use this functions, device need image data of one frame more and spend a
extra time.
Also if you don't want this function, you can disable it.
