Description:

Software needs to be installed and used with same user logon

Preconditions:

1.       Administrator has bought the software from BioEnable technologies or through on of its authorized dealers/distributors.

2.       He/She has the unique serial number for the TimetronixDesk software.

Post conditions:

 

Normal Flow:

1.0 TimetronixDesk Software installation

1.       Administrator receives software CD from BioEnable technologies.

2.       He/She insert CD into CD ROM

3.       In CD He/She will make double click on setup.exe to run setup

4.       Welcome screen is displayed on screen. Just click on next button to install software

5.       In choose destination location box select the appropriate path for installation and click on next button to continue with the setup

6.       In ready to install dialog box click on install button to install software.

7.       In Installation wizard complete dialog box click on finish button to complete installation.

8.       After installation get completed restart pc.

9.       On desktop user will get TimetronixDesk icon. Just make double click on the icon to start software.

Description:

This use case describes the basic registration steps.

Preconditions:

Software is installed properly and shift, department and designation is registered for the employees

Post conditions:

 

Normal Flow:

 Registration from software

  1. Make double click on TimeTRONIX Desk icon on desktop
  2. Give user name and password as admin and click on Login button to make login in the software
  3. Click on User management from the tree menu displayed on left hand side.
  4. Click on new button on menu bar.
  5. Enter same employee id for the user with which he has enrolled user in any product like timescan, bat s 100 etc.
  6. Enter First name, last name for the employee. Select authentication as pin.
  7. Select designation, department, shift for that particular employee
  8. Click on save button to register user in the software

Alternative Flows:

 Importing the users with ImportEdetails utility which comes with the software

  1. In order to use ImportEdetails utility go to the location c:\program files\BioEnable\TimetronixDesk and in that folder make double click on ImportEdetails.exe
  2. Select the appropriate product and click on select new file button to select path for the database
  3. After correct database is selected click on import button. After this select company name in the selection box and click on ok button
  4. In the next screen click on left side uppermost checkbox to select all the employees which user wants to add
  5. Click on Add button to add the selected employees in Timetronix Desk software.

 

Exceptions:

  1. This utility will not be useful for the product like BAT S 100 as user info is not stored in the database

Shift master

Description:

Shift master is the basic screen where user can set timings for the shift

Preconditions:

 

Post conditions:

 

Normal Flow:

  1. Make login in the software with the user id as admin and password as admin
  2. on the left hand side from the tree displayed click on shift master.
  3. In shift master tab enter shift name, start time, end time and then provide grace minutes for punching consideration. This grace minutes are given for log consideration purpose only
  4. Enter allowed early go minute, allowed late minutes
  5. Enter lunch timing, break timings
  6. Select overtime for that particular shift. Administrator can define overtime only after end of basic shift timing
  7. Enter OT rounding timings for particular overtime. These are the minutes within which employee should leave from basic shift.
  8. Click on save button to save the record

Alternative Flows:

  This flow is available only at first time when the software is installed

Steps:

  1. Make double click on Timetronix Desk icon on desktop
  2. In the next screen click on login button.
  3. In the wizard screen for start click on next button
  4. In company wizard screen enter password and click on next button
  5. Enroll designation, department 
  6. In the shift master screen enter shift name with timings and save information.

This master describes rotation in no of days

Normal Flow:

1.       In this master no of days should be defined for rotation. Like suppose I want to have five days rotation then I will be required to define here 5.

For rotation same pattern is required like for example if I want that I want 4 days rotation then only it is possible. For odd number of pattern this rotation will not be useful

This master describe rotation pattern for the shift

Normal Flow:

  1. From the shift box select shift for rotation pattern, then click on >> button to shift that name to the “Selected shift box”
  2. Select shift change pattern for the rotation
  3. Select start date and end date for rotation
  4. From the employee name box select employee names to whom administrator wants to assign rotation
  5. Click on save button to save rotation for the employees
