Software settings
In order to change settings for the software, administrator will be required to make click on setup button.
In the Logon dialog box give default password as admin and then click on ok button to go to settings window.
Organisation name: Admin can enter organisation name here which he wants to display at startup screen.
Machine id: Provide machine id to scanner which is unique.
Security Leval:
User can set various security levels in the security
level section. Following are the two types of authentication: 1)1:1 2)1:N
1:N(Identification):- In this type of authentication only
fingerprint matching is considered for identification.
1:1(Verification): In this case the user’s ID and fingerprint
both will be considered for verification of fingerprint
By default we recommend that the user in both cases 1:1 and 1:N
should put
Model: Here user can select the
application for software. If he wants to use this software for Bioenable FRT
then he should select Bioenable FRT option else if he wants to use scanner with
it then he should select Bioscanner option.
Auto In/out option: If user want that when first time
he authenticate his finger the entry should be recorded as In and second time
when he authenticate then second entry should be treated as out then user
should choose this option.
Set time: If user wants that for the
particular time the scanner should automatically start authenticating the
fingers of the employees then user should click on the set time button. Here he
will be able to set the start time and
stop time for the
scanner. E.g if user want that the scanner should automatically
authenticate the fingers of the employees when office starts (between
9:00am-9:15am) then he can set this time here and accordingly authenticate the
fingerprint of the employees.
Check finger if already exists for
registration: If
user wants that everytime when he puts his finger over scanner for
authentication then software should first check whether that fingerprint exists
or not then user must select this option.
Show snaps after verification: Here user can decide for how many
seconds the scanner should display snap for authentication.
Optimize sorting: If user wants to sort the records
then he should select this option.
Maintain monthly Log: If user want to generate separate log file for
each month then he should select this option. The separate log file will get
stored under fppayroll database by the name of that month.
Create text log file: If user wants that instead of
storing file in access as database, the data should get stored into text file
then user should select this option. The log file gets stored in the path:
C:\programme
files\Bioenable\Timetronix
Backup: If user wants to take backup of the
data then he should click on the backup button. Then following screen should
get displayed.
Here user can select the path where the backup data should
get stored. After selecting the path click on the backup button to take backup
of the data
Here user can restore the backup data into application.Select the path and click on the Restore button to restore
the data.
When user clicks on the view log button this screen will get
appeared. All the entries related to data should get displayed by this screen
If user wants to select DSN for the application then he
should click on the DSN button. At this screen by clicking on the select button
the user should select the database path for the application
Password: The user should assign
here the new password for the application.
Database password: If user want to assign
new password for the database file then he should click on this button and
enter new password for the same.
